The all aluminum leg and lock structure assure maximum leg strength and reaches a maximum height of 65″ with its column extended. The folded length is 18″, perfect for airline overhead baggage or on the go use. For simplified transport in its included carrying case.
Each of the 4 section legs features an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock, and non freeze quick twist locks for rapid opening. Two legs come with foam leg warmers for comfortable carrying and hand protection from cold or hot climates. The minimum shooting height is 16.5″. A 25mm rapid centerpost is reversable for macro shooting at ground level. Each of the aluminum alloy legs include a rubber foot retracts back to expose a metal spike that can be wedged into softer terrain for extra support and stability. Furthermore, one leg is detachable and can convert into a working monopod with a height of 57″ – 17.5″
The BH-13 Ball Head is removable, provides up to a 90° tilt for portrait orientation and 360° independent rotation. It has two independent control knobs to adjust and lock anywhere along its range of movement. Ballhead base is fully calibrated for panoramas and framing. Cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 1/4″-20 mount can be connected to the included quick release plate, which is secured to the tripod/monopod’s ball head using a CNC Arca Swiss-type quick release with 2 bubble levels for perfect horizon adjustment.
